September 20, 2008I’m not sure it’s just the Tree – I’m having trouble accessing just about anything on the internet right now. I know we had severe damage from the storms last week, and my net connections have been on and off all week – but I am not so sure there is not something hanging up somewhere. Could be the server again – not for certain though. Some of my Star Wars sites are also unaccessible tonight.
But since some are also having trouble – perhaps the server again hiccupped.
roll call..come one come all put your names up and be accounted for…I can,t get in eighter..thought it was my puter
Vista said something about it being a secondary firewall between my computer and their server.
My tinfoil hat sense tells me that maybe John G. or someone struck too close to a truth.

It’s been incredibly slow for me for a couple of days, now…I can’t get in. I HATE this!!
Sigh. But I know that our PTB will work on it and get it fixed, bless their hearts

I got in, but it sure is slow…and I cannot tell if it is me sometimes or the fact that we have a dlink and run 3 computers off of our internet….

Moving 8 50# bags of wheat berries out of freezer. Geeting ready to put them in buckets tommorow.
Put another 8 bags in the freezer for a week to kill any eggs.

It is 10:10 here in Michigan and for the second night in a row I cannot access TOL. Waaa!
So TOL has been down at least 1.5 hours? I don’t remember how long it took to get it back up last night…over two hours, I think?

yah. something hinky is goin’ on with it. hope it can be resolved soon. i started the dt about 20 min ago. i went to a few other sites.

When I headed in to bed last night, TOL was still down. I guess for a while I better enjoy the days on board and read stuff from the previous night and not plan on being on eves. Wonder how long this will go on. Oh, well. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. . .
I can’t get in either. Minky and Invar, I can get into other places too but it’s dragging like dial up and I’m on dsl. Now yall have got me starting to wonder if something bigger is up out there…guess I could go scan the news…

I’m on arfcom banging my head on the key board at how mislead some of the people are over there.
Not just ignorant about what is going on, that I could deal with. I took really didn’t understand a short time ago.
Some of these dolts are backwards thinkers and unfortunately they will take alot of people down with them.

Hope it works. It’s not moderated, but should be open to the public for now. It’s located at the bottom of the directory list TOL Backup Chat and Board… Any of TOL’s Mod’s want mod right’s email me…. I am still putting stuff away, so I am on and off…

I think my first post suggesting this as a temporary Back Up Board was eaten LOL… Vipper5555@aol.com is my email as an FYI… Until HW get’s his backup forum set up or the main one fixed I thought I would offer up this one for temporary use. It’s a gold board, so no pop up’s… There is a forum and chat for temporary use set up just for TOL I’ll foot the bill for it, so hope it works, if not email me…

I have to reboot my computer which takes 20 minutes or more… If you wanna change anything from skins on in the forum, go for it… You can also make any others you need to mod’s, admin’s or such if you want now… I’ll check in later tonight… Have a major Costco purchase to get put away
